Afghanistan

Hillside first began working in Afghanistan in 2003.
We have taken a number of trips since then and have been inspired and encouraged by our Afghan brothers and sisters who remain resilient in their faith despite the turmoil their country has seen in the last decade. During our stays, we visited schools and groups affected by war and had a number of opportunities to share the gospel with people who had never heard. Afghanistan was also an externship destination in 2004.
While the Christian community in Afghanistan faces a number of uncertainties, it is clear that the Church is alive and growing. We look forward to how Hillside might strengthen and mobilize Afghan believers in the future.
