How much do you love our new website and catalog? We’re still tweaking a few things and always looking for ways to spruce up design stuff etc but we are liking it lots.! Would love to hear your feedback as well.This website compared to our old one is like Starbuck’s bold blend compared to the generic supermarket roast and rain compared to sunshine. (I hope I didn’t make anyone mad by that sentence.)It’s a pretty focused day here in the office; sort of quiet (or maybe that’s because Rob is in the Middle East on his externship), everyone working hard, most of us seriously caffeinated. We’re recruiting interns, writing press releases, and staying classy.We’ve talked a bit about the property we hope to move into SOON but I think a quick update is in order. First, we’re still hoping to move in and second, we’re still working to raise the last bit of funds we need to be able to both renovate the space and pay the monthly bills. It’s exciting. The “office” is actually a storefront property with big display windows and cool molding. Plus, it’s right in a cool historic part of the city near lots of other organizations and businesses. We love the idea that we’ll be more accessible. Now to get pledges to cover the remaining $500/month. Fundraising is never a piece of cake (if it were, I’d want it to be chocolate) but we’re praying and working hard and hope to have good news within the next few weeks!Have a good day!
